Well, our first ever Business Networking Breakfast was held yesterday morning and it was a brilliant success with over 80 local business men and women turning up for a scrummy breakfast prepared by our wonderful catering staff, the chance to mingle and to listen to our guest speaker, Olympic Gold medallist Ben Hunt-Davis MBE.
Ben spoke to us about "Will it make the boat go
faster?" which was the key question put to his team when
they were
preparing for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. He was extremely
passionate, you should of seen his face when we were watching a
video of the final race, it was as if he was still in the boat!
Plus we got to hold his Gold Medal!
Our Business Breakfast Meeting is on Wednesday 7th March with guest speaker Mick Fitzgerald giving his views on the subject of "Keep your Heart Racing, when the Racing stops".
