Following the BHA's announcement on 17th March 2020, all horse racing fixtures will be suspended from 18th March until at least the end of April. Read our News section for more information.
Royal Windsor Racecourse is a place to be seen and with three enclosures we offer a destination for all racegoers to enjoy the action.
With the hotly contested Gentlemen’s day and Ladies day best dressed competitions on offer, why not push the boat out and enter to win some luxury prizes? For those fixtures with music entertainment all gates are opened up after racing therefore everyone in Heidsieck Club, Grandstand and Silver Ring can access the live post-racing concerts.
The Heidsieck Club Enclosure has the prime position next to the winning post and has a dedicated big screen for all the racing action. With a ticket for this area you can access the Heidsieck Club, Grandstand and Silver Ring Enclosures, Centre of the Course and Paddock Lawn. The Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure are close by and there is also a great choice of bars and wonderful restaurants.
Dress Code: We have a smart dress code in the Heidsieck Club Enclosure. Smart jeans (no rips, tears or fraying) are acceptable as are smart tailored shorts, but t-shirts, sports attire, cargo style shorts and trainers are not permitted and we do ask that men wear a collared shirt. Smart sandals for ladies are permitted however beach style flip flops are not.
Racegoers under the age of 18 are encouraged to dress smartly. There is no dress code for children under 12 however we do ask parents to ensure their children are dressed smartly.
The Grandstand Enclosure has a great view of the track and is located within 75 yards of the winning post. With a ticket for this area you can access the Grandstand and Silver Ring Enclosures, Centre of the Course and Paddock Lawn.
Dress Code: With a Grandstand ticket, you are able to dine in the Castle Restaurant (we advise advance bookings). Heidsieck Club Enclosure dress code applies to all restaurant dining cross the course, including the Castle Restaurant.
This enclosure is approximately 150 yards from the winning post and is the only area on the course where you may bring your own picnic. Please note only alcohol purchased on site is allowed to be consumed at Royal Windsor Racecourse. Any alcohol not purchased on site will be confiscated and unfortunately not returned.
Although this enclosure is the furthest from the winning post there are still great views of the track and the best positions are soon taken so get there early to make sure you don't miss any of the action! With a ticket for the Silver Ring Enclosure you can access the picnic area only. This enclosure is open May – August only.
Dress Code: There is no dress code in this enclosure.
