Brand-new for 2024, come and meet T-Rex, Raptors and baby dinosaurs as Europe's largest and most realistic animatronic dinosaurs come to Windsor Races!
Kids will love seeing appearances from loads of pre-historic dinosaurs plus there’ll be lots of interactive games and fun to keep them entertained.
They can try their hand at 'Ranger Training' in the interactive workshops, where they'll be guided through Jurassic knowledge and what to do in an emergency dinosaur break-out situation. They can dig for bones in the ‘Dino Dig’ sandpit and be entertained by the Comedy Cavemen. Plus, they'll be lots of unique dinosaur photo opportunities across the course - it’s the perfect summer family day out in Windsor!
Racing League is a competition between 7 regional teams – Ireland, Scotland, Yorkshire, The North, The East, Wales & The West and London & The South - who compete over six horseracing fixtures across the country.
Heading to a new racecourse each week, teams compete against each other for valuable points. The team with the most points after the final race at Southwell Racecourse on Thursday 5th September will be crowned 2024 Racing League Champions!
Each team is headed-up by a captain – a well-known personality in the industry! 2024 captain’s include Group-one winning trainer Jamie Osborne, TV presenter Mick Quinn and Love Island star Chris Hughes – so expect lighthearted competitiveness and banter between each team!

Royal Windsor is easily accessible by car, rail and by boat. Yes, you heard that right! A feature unique to Windsor Racecourse is our river boat shuttle which departs from Windsor Promenade and arrives at our private jetty. If this sounds up your street, book our Royal River package and travel in style!
Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.

Our public car park and our close proximity blue badge accessible parking is free and there is no need to pre-book. However, we have a limited number of car parking spaces close to all entrances

River boats depart Windsor Promenade (opposite Brown’s restaurant) 2 hours before the first race and every 10/15 minutes up until the second race. Boats return to Windsor Promenade from the racecourse jetty from the penultimate race and every 10/15 minutes until 45 minutes after the last race.
