Royal Windsor is easily accessible by car, rail and by boat. Yes, you heard that right! A feature unique to Windsor Racecourse is our river boat shuttle which departs from Windsor Promenade and arrives at our private jetty. Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.

Our public car park and our close proximity blue badge accessible parking is free and there is no need to pre-book. However, we have a limited number of car parking spaces close to all entrances

River boats depart Windsor Promenade (opposite Brown’s restaurant) 2 hours before the first race and every 10/15 minutes up until the second race. Boats return to Windsor Promenade from the racecourse jetty from the penultimate race until 15 minutes after the music ends on music nights.
