We look forward to welcoming more owners for the full Windsor Racecourse experience as soon as it is safe to do so and thank you for your support.
Whilst British Racing continues to take place behind closed doors, we are very pleased that we will be in a position to welcome back six owners per entered horse for fixtures taking place from Monday 12th April.
During this time, owners will be able to enjoy a takeaway food option, which is permitted to be consumed inside as one household/support bubble whilst seated or outside, as either two households or a maximum group size of six. Alcohol will be available to be purchased via our app and consumed outside and whilst seated only.
Whilst we appreciate the experience will not be the usual one, we are working hard to expand our offering in line with government guidelines. All owners must register their attendance in advance and follow the code of conduct. Click below for the latest visiting advice from the Racehorse Owners Association:
Whilst horse racing takes place behind closed doors, the owners' experience at Windsor will be a bit different from what we've been able to offer in the past.
We hope that, as restrictions ease, we can provide you with the experience we pride ourselves on. In the meantime, thank you for your support.
The new Owners Zone consists of the Riverbank Marquee and gardens, enjoying exclusive access to the adjacent side of the parade ring. Owners track viewing will be in the existing Owners and Trainers facility. This is accessed across the horsewalk as guided by the stewards, up the terrace stairs and through the double doors. There will be a one-way system in operation that leads to the jockey’s debriefing area and back to the Riverbank Marquee.
Our racecourse is operating within the Government's latest advice. With guidelines and capacities for the sports' participants, owners and racegoers being updated regularly, not all facilities, catering outlets or bars will be in operation and your experience might be a little different. Please visit the news section of our website for the latest visitor information and information on what to expect.
As per recent government guidelines, all Owners attending Windsor Racecourse will be required to register for NHS's Track & Trace.
QR codes will be prominently displayed at the entrance to Windsor. Visitors will be able to use their smartphone to scan the code. This will link to the appropriate NHS site where they will be required to enter their details and receive relevant updates.
All winning connections at Windsor will receive a picture of their horse and jockey and a USB memory stick recording, both of which will be posted on to your trainer within a few days of racing.
At Windsor Racecourse, our aim to ensure those who are making the biggest contribution to the sport have an exceptional experience. Owners have access to our dedicated Owners & Trainers bistro to enjoy watching all the action, plus we provide complimentary food, tea and coffee.
