Windsor confirms 26 fixtures for 2026

6th August 2025 - As the British Horseracing Authority announces the fixture list across UK racecourses for 2026, Royal Windsor Racecourse can confirm 26 fixtures for 2026.

These fixtures will comprise of 22 flat fixtures and four jumps fixtures, including the return of the New Year’s Day fixture, for the first since 1998.

Royal Windsor Racecourse is thrilled to be able to stage this traditional meeting in the racing calendar once again, twenty eight years later.

Following the re-introduction of National Hunt racing at Windsor after two decades, the second edition of the Berkshire Winter Million Festival will take place in January, while a full calendar of Monday Night Racing will take place from early May to mid-September.

Royal Windsor Racecourse has released a 3 day pass for the Berkshire Winter Million, which is fixed at £40 for racing at Windsor on Friday 16th January and Sunday 18th January, with Ascot also included on the Saturday.

The addition of the Berkshire Winter Million to the National Hunt programme has been a welcome one since it was first introduced in 2025, with all the top trainers supporting the races which take place across each day of the meeting - thanks to the healthy prize money on offer.

New Year’s Day tickets are already available from £20, while early bird General Admission tickets for all Monday Night Racing available from £21.

Jimmy Wallace, Executive Director at Royal Windsor Racecourse, said: “Royal Windsor Racecourse is of course synonymous with Monday Night Racing and we are pleased to announce a full calendar of 22 Flat race meetings from early May to mid September, with our traditional popular race night themes, as well as introducing some new ones into the mix for 2026. Windsor now has a second string to its bow with 4 Jumps meetings, and we are truly thrilled to be hosting a New Year’s Day fixture, previously a traditional meeting in the racing calendar, which we are confident will be a really popular addition to our fixture list”.

He added: “We are also extremely excited to build on the success of last year’s inaugural Berkshire Winter Million, working together with Ascot Racecourse, as we revert the track back to a figure of 8 configuration for both our Jumps racing as well as our Flat racing.”
