It doesn't matter if you're new to watching live horse racing or if you've been to many horse racing fixtures before. You can't beat the atmosphere of the races. The sound of the runners thundering down the home straight, the roar of the crowd. We may be the home of Monday Night Racing but you won't want to miss a Saturday at the races.
Ladies Day isn't just racing action and fashion fun. We also add in helpings of live entertainment, and delicious food and drink.
Savour glasses of summer Pimm's, sparkling prosecco and of course glasses of smooth Champagne. To tempt your taste buds, there'll be a variety of delicious summer food available.
This year we'll be joined by 90s Explosion - The Essential Concert Collection. Get ready for all the retro tunes, from Gangsta's Paradise, to Torn; Cannonball to Barbie Girl. Get your dancing shoes ready and dance the night away on the lawn after racing.
Ladies Day has long had a tradition of being the most fashionable day of the season. Thousands of racegoers all donning their treasured outfits and accessories to make for a very stylish event. Whilst dressing up isn’t necessary, many racegoers on Ladies Day enjoy dressing up.

Your favourite threads could also win you some big prizes. The Style Awards is open to all in attendance, and offers all manners of prizes for those in the top positions. Hotly contested, it certainly pays to impress the judges.
Entry to our fashion competition is simple. Head to the beautiful flower wall when you arrive and get your picture taken. That’s it.
We will show the shortlisted entries on the big screen for consideration. We then invite finalists to join us for the final judging before we announce the 2024 winner.

Royal Windsor is easily accessible by car, rail and by boat. Yes, you heard that right! A feature unique to Windsor Racecourse is our river boat shuttle which departs from Windsor Promenade and arrives at our private jetty. If this sounds up your street, book our Royal River package and travel in style!
Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.

River boats depart Windsor Promenade (opposite Brown’s restaurant) 2 hours before the first race and every 10/15 minutes up until the second race. Boats return to Windsor Promenade from the racecourse jetty from the penultimate race and every 10/15 minutes until 45 minutes after the last race.
