Round off the summer at Royal Windsor Racecourse on Saturday 28th August 2027 with our Summer Closing Party. Enjoy an afternoon of flat racing by the River Thames, with the prestigious Listed August Stakes among the racing highlights.
Stay on for an evening of dancing to live music and singalongs on stage after racing. Bring your friends along for a summer get-together, with racing and entertainment to round off the season.
A highlight of the Windsor racing calendar, the Listed August Stakes was upgraded to Listed status in 2004 and is run over 1m3f. Previous winners include Beautiful Romance, Arabian Crown, and Desert Encounter, who went on to achieve further success at Group level. Tenability won the 2026 renewable for Tom Marquand and William Haggas. Watch the 2027 action unfurl this August!
Music after racing is what we are known for - Its a Windsor Nights Thing! Stay tuned for confirmation for the Saturday Night line up.
Head to the trackside rail to watch the horses thunder down the home straight, and visit the parade ring to see them up close before they race. Make the most of the summer setting as we bring the season to a close at Windsor.
