Known as the home of Monday Night Racing, Windsor is the place to be when the start of the week rolls around. The August Stakes was upgraded to a Listed race in 2004 and is run over 1m3f with an increased total prize pot of £60k for 2026. Previous winners of the race have gone on to Group success including Godolphin's Beautiful Romance, 2021 winner Teona who went on to win the Group 1 Prix Vermeille, and 2018's Desert Encounter who went on to Grade 1 success in Canada and took the Group 3 Winter Hill the following year. The 2025 winner was Arabian Crown for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin.

*River boats depart Windsor Promenade (opposite Brown’s restaurant) 2 hours before the first race and every 10/15 minutes up until the second race. Boats return to Windsor Promenade from the racecourse jetty from the penultimate race and every 10/15 minutes until 45 minutes after the last race.
